Philanthropy
The Lonestar Retreat is proud to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as our charity of choice. For the last seven years we have raised money each year that is then donated to St. Jude. To date we have raised over $20,000.
Fundraising
We have many talented and generous friends of the retreat. The quilt on the right was made and donated by Evelyn Peacock. We raffled the quilt off in 2023 and it along with other fundraisers allowed us to donate over $1800 to St. Jude in 2023.
2024 Fundraiser
The quilt on the left made by attendee Lorie Vanderslice, a crocheted blanket made by committee member Michelle Dengel (not pictured), and our swear jar allowed us to raise $1100.
2025 Fundrasier
The quilt on the right made by committee member Brandy Grotts, along with a philanthropy partnership with our friends at the Crafter's Paradise Retreat allowed us to raise $2361
2026 Fundraiser
The quilt on the left made by committee member Brandy Grotts, along with a philanthropy partnership with our friends at the Crafter's Paradise Retreat allowed us to raise $5260
